A Child, A car and One wrong turn

Tell me, HOW DOES ONE FORGET A CHILD IN A CAR!?!?!?!?! It is the most irritating, teeth grinding, stupid accident a person can do. Forget a child or a baby in a car and not just forget them but forget them to die!

Two of these accidents have passed in the last two days in Israel. Just because a parent has been on the phone or automatically goes into a state to go somewhere because the child is quiet and the parent forgets. Now I'm not saying these people are bad and that they should burn in hell for all eternity. NO. I'm just saying pay more attention to your child. Be more careful especially in a country with a hot climate.

A child's body temperature can rise 3 to 5 times it's normal body temperature. This could happen to everyone as Psychologist Dr. David Mitchell says. He also says that our short-term-memory can only remember approximately 7 items, so shouldn't our child/ren be at the top of that list, or let alone not on that list at all and be in our long term memory, and I'm saying that includes anything that relates to our child/ren.

One story like this happened 2011 May 25th. A baby girl, died because of a wrong turn that happened that morning. Only to be found in the car and not at day care at noon. She was one of the many 300 deaths that accrued.

I will end here because I hate long posts and I will ramble on forever on this topic. Thanks for reading, I just wanted this out there.

Poetry!

On Monday (April 22nd) we (my class) were introduced to out new English Unit- Poetry, and were asked later to write what we think about it.
 Poetry is art! It is a story with a rhythm, a painting made of words. It is a way to describe your emotions and your thoughts.What you see and what you want to see, what you imagine and what is life to you.  It should have no boundaries, it is you as letters. It comes in forms and shapes and characteristics, like every single person in this world. Each poem attracts a different heart and mind. In my view poetry should not be analysed and taken apart, read it and love it for what it is. Dont dissect it, because when you dissect something, its dead, you see what you want and then toss it away.

I myself dont write much poetry but I do enjoy it. Here and there I try to write my own poem, but it doesn't always work. I like inspiration and time to guide me through writing it. I prefer poetry to be a free thing, if I dont connect with the poem, I stop and move on or re-read it slowly. So I'm saying I find analysing a poem using a knife to see the contents is irritating, I find it boring and very one sided. I prefer to listen to how others read it, see it and through it talk on how it makes each person feel. To have a full glass globe, with endless, angles to look through it.

One poem, I like is by Shakespeare (and I know we are going to learn about him): A Madrigal

CRABBED Age and Youth
Cannot live together:
Youth is full of pleasance,
Age is full of care;
Youth like summer morn,
Age like winter weather,
Youth like summer brave,
Age like winter bare;
Youth is full of sport,
Age's breath is short,
Youth is nimble, Age is lame;
Youth is hot and bold,
Age is weak and cold,
Youth is wild, and Age is tame:—
Age, I do abhor thee;
Youth, I do adore thee:
O! my Love, my Love is young!
Age, I do defy thee—
O sweet shepherd, hie thee,
For me thinks thou stay'st too long.

On Wednesday we continued our discussion on poetry and to add to the post and tell of what we learnt
For me I learnt different terms for a poem, Economy of a verse and aural quality and others like contemplating and emoting.  I like poetry its fun and i especially like the ones with deep meaning.

Belief!

This might be more of a religious view, to others. And to some just a touching story, if I get it right. But today My mom told me a very beautiful but sad story of an autistic boy, who went to a normal christian school in the US and was Isolated, he was made fun off because he was, abnormal.

But let me start from the very begging.

After the crucification, Jesus was buried in a cave and stone was rolled to cover the entrance. No one could go in, because the stone was supremely heavy and nothing could come out. This is the day we now call- Good Friday, the only day christians fast. But after three days, Easter, Mary his mother went to cry beside the cave but found that the stoned was rolled a side and inside instead of her son’s body, she found two angels sent to give her a message. Jesus have risen from the dead- not in the wet flesh, bloody look dead- and is roaming the world, spreading the word of god once more for the next 30 days.

And now the story my mom told me:

The young boy was alone at school. His class made fun of him, but his teacher was nice to him and took time to explain everything to him, so he wouldn’t fall behind his class to a point where he would look an elephant with a group of mice. One day he spoke to the class, and this was rare, he said that he loves his teacher. Now this made things worse, his class made even more fun of him and his teacher didn’t know what to say. Later his teacher spoke to the class about the crucification of Jesus (See above paragraph), and told the kids that their homework over the Easter Holiday was to fill the plastic eggs she would hand out with something that symbolizes life to them. She took note to call the ‘special’ boy’s parents to make sure they knew. But she forgot from overwhelming work. And so the break came and past. On Tuesday after the break, the kids handed in their colorful, life filled eggs. Slowly she opened one by one to share with the class, one had a flower for it closes, withers and grows once more. There was a plastic Butterfly, it is reborn from with in a cocoon. Then she got to the third egg, it was empty. She thought it was the autistic boy’s one and didn’t know what to say, so she set it aside for it was empty. Then the boy spoke:

“Why have you not spoken of my egg?”

She replied saying because it was empty, But he then said something very smart, that Jesus’s cave was also empty, but it was a sign of rebirth of life.

Sadly three months later this wonderful gifted kid passed away from disease. His whole class placed 19 empty eggs in his coffin as a symbol, to his rebirth in heaven.

Now to this post I have not personal message I would ramble on about, I want you the reader to think of one for yourself. Read this, share this and live it. Be thankful and think of this boy, who made a small spark to his class, and truly held a strong belief to what he was taught through out his life, though rough but ended in the bask of the rising sun of life.

Rage

I know I haven't blogged lately, so this one is the newest post, though some of you wont find interesting.

But here goes:
Rage like many things is a prior emotion to human life. It motivates and keeps up going. But when not controlled, and you let it control you, you will achieve nothing, but the feeling of regret and confusion in the aftermath. Rage like many things is in human nature, it cannot be removed or hidden away. Like fear, excitement, pride, it is in our nature to feel it.

Rage is a deadly sin. Because it is not liked, unwanted and above all, thought of as useless It isn't though. Rage/Wrath, is a much more powerful then anger. Like Pokemon or to gamers, another level.  Rage motivated you to try and get even, its part of nature. Good and Evil, Black and White, Yin and Yang, Darkness and Light. It of course like other categorized sins has a virtue-Patience.

I look in this way, when I think of it- It is a chamber in the mind, a dark locked chamber. When it is opened other chambers lock up, from fear, I guess. But anyway. A state of mind closes and Rage takes over like a shadow, that devours everything in whole, it doesn't kill, if it is suppressed. But if not, it will destroy the valley- the mind- and until their is nothing but sorrow, regret or nothing at all.

Anyway...... As I was saying. Rage is a part of who we are but we just have to keep it in place, tame it, control it. After all it is us and if we can't with hold ourselves who can (mentally speaking, not physically).

So before I ramble on ad re-repeat myself over and over. Think of who you are, who you want to be and see how rage can prevent, or create that thought. Is Rage as bad as it was seen in the past?

Pride

Pride, a characteristic with pros and cons. Now it is a good things, a word to describe, self-confidence but once and still is one of the 7 Deadly Sins. A brother to Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Wrath/Rage and Sloth. Pride is another word to Self-Confidence, a synonym to egoism or dignity.

Pride is sin in the eyes of some because, it blinds. It creates a fantasy to the prideful, that they can do what they like, when ever they like and they will succeed. Yes Pride is good, it is confidence, but not when it is a constant thing, not when it gives you such a good impression of yourself, that you detach yourself from the world and think you can do everything. Many people who have pride as a daily trait, get themselves killed or un-liked by society.

"It is better to lose your pride with someone you love rather than to lose that someone you love with useless pride"- Johnny Depp

When one is full of Pride only Humility may bring them back. For Humility is the opposite of Pride. Only when a selfless act is done, does Pride subside. But as humans, Pride never goes away, and so when I write this, I want to tell you that Pride is good, it is healthy, but like all food when over eaten,you get fat, and when Pride gets to your head, you get fat with boldness, that the most cruelest result is Death.

So keep that in mind, because I try to, and in the comments below if you like write down another if you want to read about it. I would like another!

I need some advice......

Lately I find myself, thinking about the 7 deadly sins. Its weird I know, but I keep thinking of people their actions and suddenly, one or another I put them in a category. Here are the seven:
-Pride,
-Sloth,
-Gluttony,
-Rage,
-Envy,
-Lust (not doing this one)
-Greed.

Dont get it the wrong way, but many of us-including me- show these in some way. I know that no one is perfect, and that right now I'm not making any sense but I think, this is useful. For me, its another way to look at things, sadly in a negative way. I want to write about, but I'm not sure which one to write about.  So I would like to ask the readers, if you want, to choose one and comments below. Only if you want to, you dont have to.

Looking forward to hear from you;
